Facilitating the employment of Ukrainian teachers in Switzerland

The Association Ukraine Schweiz Bern held a webinar within the framework of the project on employment of Ukrainian refugees: “Employment of Ukrainian teachers in Switzerland”.

The project is co-funded by the Women’s Association ‘Zonta Bern’ and the Reformed Church of Bern-Jura-Solothurn. Around fifty people attended the webinar. Speakers: Svitlana Manzer, psychologist, coach, expert on the Ukrainian and Swiss education systems, Maria Lukatska, teacher, translator, educator, and Olga Bukovska, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, clinical psychologist, trauma therapist, Master of Education and Psychology. They not only told us about the algorithms and legislative nuances that exist in the educational system of the canton of Bern. They also shared their own success stories, as well as all of them are employed in accordance with their specialty. In addition, they talked about teaching methods in Swiss schools, psychological aspects of the interaction with students and colleagues, and ways to develop personal motivation when looking for a job.
