Ukrainians to Ukrainians: sharing books with newly arrived refugees

The Association ‘Ukraine Switzerland Bern’ has delivered educational and developmental materials to children in the Fiererfeld container city in Bern. Art books and textbooks, paints and colouring books were shared by children who have been studying at the Ukrainian school in Bern since the beginning of the war. ‘Children in communal centres have fewer privileges and limited access to books and educational materials. In Firerfeld, there are children from different backgrounds, including Roma. We are glad to see that our schoolchildren share their books and materials with others,’ said Olena Krylova, head of the USB Association.
