Building dialogues: Three long short years

Three long short years

On February 25, the East European Library in Bern hosted the event “Drei lange, kurze Jahre”, dedicated to the artistic perspectives of the three years of war in Ukraine.

Media coordinator of the Association “Ukraine Switzerland Bern” Svitlana Prokopchuk took part in a panel discussion together with artist Florence Fausch, marketing expert Anastasia Zarya and moderator Cecile Drouet from the University of Bern.

The event included an exhibition of illustrations reflecting the experiences of Ukrainian women who found refuge in Switzerland after 2022, as well as a discussion on the role of art in covering the war, preserving memory and creating a space for dialogue between cultures.

📍 Thank you to the organizers: University of Bern, Osteuropastudien OES, Schweizerische Osteuropabibliothek and Ost|Est!
