USB school students share their impressions with representatives of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine

The meeting of schoolchildren with the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Yevhen Kudriavets, was organized by the ‘Ukraine Switzerland Bern’ Association.

All the children came to Switzerland due to the full-scale invasion by Russia. Some initially studied in integration classes, while others were immediately enrolled in Swiss schools. However, despite the workload, they are currently combining two education systems, choosing either external studies or online learning in Ukraine.

‘Today, the Ukrainian education system differs from the Swiss and other European countries, where it is possible to combine studies and work, as Swiss teenagers do when planning for the future,’ emphasized Yevhen Kudriavets. ‘Ukrainian youth are highly motivated,’ noted Yevhen Kudriavets, wishing the young people not to stop at what they have achieved and to continue gaining knowledge and learning foreign languages.
