Commemorating the victims of the Holodomor in Switzerland

Representatives of the “Ukraine Schweiz Bern” Association attended an event dedicated to honoring the memory of the Holodomor victims in Ukraine in 1932-1933. This event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland in collaboration with the Ukrainian Society in Switzerland.

According to historians’ estimates, the Soviet government starved between 7 and 10 million Ukrainians to death during that time. Remembering this tragedy means respecting national memory. Unfortunately, none of the perpetrators were ever punished. Ukrainian families and even entire villages perished. Eternal memory to the victims…
