We go with a master class to an integration school in Burgdorf

In the integration school of Burgdorf, the Ukrainian Association UkraineSchweizBern, with the support of the school’s director Heinz Berge, organized a Christmas ornament painting workshop.

Children independently chose drawing themes, created sketches, and then named their creations. Thus, the students took home ornaments with names like ‘Magical,’ ‘Unique,’ and ‘Floral,’ along with the Christmas spirit that filled the atmosphere worldwide.

The workshop was conducted by the renowned Ukrainian artist Olena Rohova. The artist moved to Switzerland from Chernihiv. Back home, she lost her studio and paintings she had worked on for 30 years. Despite the sorrow, Olena continues to create in Switzerland, and the proceeds from her paintings are sent to children in Ukraine.
